Project Example: Identifying Fake News Websites using NLP

In this project, students learn how to build a classifier that is able to distinguish fake news websites from established news websites. The fake news problem is important: many argue that the unchecked spread of misinformation played a significant factor in the outcome of the 2016 U.S. election, along with other elections elsewhere.
