Perspectives on AI Education from K12 School Leaders
Nicole Carter
Principal
Novi High School
“AI education is critically important to ensure our students and staff are aware of the dangers and benefits of AI. It isn’t going away so we need to learn how to use it as a tool to support us in lifelong learning…It is my responsibility as the lead learner to bring awareness and education around AI.”
Carol Green
Academic Summer Principal
The Harker School
“We were looking for a program that made this learning accessible to students regardless of their programming background… and we felt that Inspirit and their instructors allowed students that safety to explore, experience, and grow.”
Stan Golanka
Director of Academic and Infrastructure Technology
Trevor Day School
“Inspirit AI provides experts in the current AI field. We thought having current academic researchers in the field teach our students was a fantastic idea… I appreciate your holistic approach; this isn't just about neural networks and coding, this is also about ethics.”
Robert Doyle
Secondary Principal
Rabat American School
“My hope would be that students learned how to use AI in terms of creating a project and how it can assist. [Now we’re thinking about] how students who were involved in the program can help the teachers and teach them how to use AI.”
Worldwide Impact
We’ve had the fortune of guiding students with interests across healthcare, robotics, art, economics, journalism, and more from 70+ countries in learning fundamental AI concepts, preparing for college admissions, and applying their passions to achieve social good. 45% of our students come to the program with no previous background in CS.
